A lovely cottage (converted barn) that was just one in a "mews" of several similar properties. Our accomodation comfortably housed 4 friends and two children. Kitchen was fully equipped with ANYTHING you may ever need, even chapagne flutes! Two bathrooms that made the inevitable hassle of 4 women all getting ready at once, less fraught. Fabulous cosy decor, and an enormous dining table. Nice grassy "court-yard" and friendly dogs for the children to run around. All in all very pleased, and will be booking again with family as hopefully we could get adjacent properties.
Location 5 minutes drive to Bakewell, and lots of nearby attractions.

We had a very comfortable relaxing stay at the cottage. It was an impressive place to stay in but still felt very homely and cosy. We felt very at home the whole time we stayed. Marie and her husband were very helpful and welcoming. An excellent holiday cottage!

Barons Keep has a lovely large living space with big sofas and a huge dining table for all six of us. The beds were really comfortable and the whole cottage was lovely and warm.

If people are looking for a relaxing break from work and the general hustle and bustle of life, then this is the perfect place to get away from everything. I was like living a different life for a short time and the cottage was beautifully furnished and very comfortable.
